About the Program

To comply with California’s Clean Truck Check (HD I/M), all diesel and alternative‑fuel vehicles with a GVWR over 14,000 lbs — including those registered out of state — must be enrolled in CARB’s online database.

How to Register Your Truck(s)

  • Pay the $30 annual compliance fee per vehicle
